Principal and Founder

I am accomplished executive IT architect with over 25 years’ experience with a passion for payments and banking solutions.   A career consultant, I am comfortable fulfilling a variety of roles from strategy formulation to leading a solution delivery.  

I have broad experience across several banking domains (Retail | Wholesale | Commercial | Payments | Operations) with deep specialisms in payment systems architecture & open banking.  

I am highly skilled in solution definition and in architecture strategy development.   Capable of working at both a high level and with low level technical detail, I decompose and solve complex problems and articulate solutions to senior stakeholders.  Possessing a consultative style, I work tirelessly to deliver strategic initiatives within an organisation.

I aspire to continue to work as the lead architect on highly complex programmes delivering digital transformation and IT modernisation and to provide leadership of large, multi-disciplined global teams. 

I enjoy learning and applying new technologies to solve business problems and contribute to the wider technical community via regular thought leadership articles in leading journals and on LinkedIn. Most recently I co-authored an internationally published book entitled “Middleware Architecture” and am a regular contributor to the Journal of Payments Strategy and Systems, both as an author and reviewer.
